Your travel tracker for every country
VOIA is a free travel tracker app for iOS and Android that lets you track every country you have visited on an interactive map and globe (or find them automatically in your photos), plan trips day by day with stays, transport, tours and expenses, invite friends to plan with you, and follow where other travellers have been. Travellers have already mapped over 1,200 country visits on VOIA.
What is VOIA?
VOIA is a travel tracker app for iPhone and Android, with a web app at app.voiatravel.com. It maps every country you have visited on a map and 3D globe, plans trips on a map with stays, transport and activities, lets you plan a trip with friends, and shows where the people you follow have been.
Is VOIA free?
VOIA is free to download and its core features are free: the visited countries map, trip planning, planning with friends, the date vote, shared costs, the trip chat, and the friends feed and ranking. VOIA Premium is an optional subscription at €4.99 a month or €49.99 a year, bought in the app. It adds My Stats, finding places in your photos, the @voia assistant in trip chats, and importing trips from booking files after the first free import.
How do I track the countries I have visited?
Tap Add Visit, search for a country and tap it; dates are optional. On iPhone, VOIA can also find past visits in your photos and suggest them for you to approve. To get your number without installing anything, use the free visited countries map on this site.
Does VOIA see my photos?
Only if you use photo import, and even then the photos stay on your phone. VOIA reads where and when each photo was taken on the device, and only the places it works out are sent. You approve every visit before it is added.
Can I plan a trip with friends?
Yes. Invite friends to a trip and choose who can edit. Everyone can mark the days they are free in a date vote, the trip has its own group chat, and shared costs can be split in any currency and settled up at the end.
How is VOIA different from other travel tracker apps?
Most travel trackers only map where you have been. VOIA also plans where you are going next, on a map and with friends, so a trip you plan ends up on your map once you have been.
VOIA Travel is available free on the App Store and Google Play.
